In 2024, the Republican, Brad Finstad, won this seat with a margin of 17.1 percent, or 64,554 votes, over the Democrat, Rachel Bohman. Meanwhile, in 2024, Trump won in this seat by 12 percent.
An estimated 151,709 eligible voters, or 28.7 percent, did not vote at that election in Minnesota District 1, and 297 voted for a third (or fourth) party. There are also 23,938 in this district who have turned 18 since 2024 and are now eligible to vote!
