In 2024, the Republican, Michelle Fischbach, won this seat with a margin of 41.0 percent, or 160,119 votes, over the Democrat, A. J. Peters. Meanwhile, in 2024, Trump won in this seat by 36 percent.
An estimated 144,630 eligible voters, or 27.0 percent, did not vote at that election in Minnesota District 7, and 433 voted for a third (or fourth) party. There are also 24,202 in this district who have turned 18 since 2024 and are now eligible to vote!
