This is currently considered to be a Purple congressional district. This is one of the critical seats that Democrats must win to regain control of the House. Meanwhile, in 2024, Trump won in this seat by 12 percent.
An estimated 117,929 eligible voters, or 26.8 percent, did not vote at that election in Montana District 1, and 9,954 voted for a third (or fourth) party. There are also 12,441 in this district who have turned 18 since 2024 and are now eligible to vote!
