This is currently considered to be a Blue congressional district. No matter how you vote the Democrat is going to win this seat! You can safely vote third party without affecting the outcome. In 2024, the Democrat, Lloyd Doggett, won this seat with a margin of 50.6 percent, or 172,614 votes, over the Republican, Jenny Garcia Sharon. Meanwhile, In 2024, Harris won in this seat by 49 percent.
An estimated 221,633 eligible voters, or 39.4 percent, did not vote at that election in Texas District 37, and 7,511 voted for a third (or fourth) party. There are also 22,190 in this district who have turned 18 since 2024 and are now eligible to vote!
