Kamala Harris is disturbingly complicit with genocide in Gaza and is beholden to the same special interests that are fuelling the climate crisis and endless wars. But letting Trump win this election would be a disaster, not only for this country, but for the world.
No matter who is the next President, we are going to have to keep fighting for the changes we want to see. But if you really want to have any chance of influencing the policies of the next administration, you want Kamala Harris in the White House, because you will have zero leverage with a Trump presidency. If Harris wins this election by a just a handful of votes in North Carolina and a few other purple states, she will actually owe it to those voters who were willing to “swap” their vote to get her elected. That’s leverage power!
Vote-swapping simply means being willing to vote for Harris in North Carolina, in exchange for someone in a red or blue state voting for the third party candidate of your choice. There is no guarantee that they will do this, but if it is someone you trust, it is worth a shot.
Voting for a third party candidate in North Carolina is not going to make it any more likely that they win the election. But the total votes they get nationwide does matter, because the more they get, the stronger the message that sends to Kamala Harris, the Democratic Party, and the country.
So if you are unhappy with Trump and Harris, and you live in North Carolina, please consider swapping your vote with someone you know in a red or blue state who may be willing to add a vote for your favorite third party candidate there.
And if you don’t know anyone personally who fits that description, sign up with VoteSwap24 to be partnered with someone in one of those states who wants to swap votes with you.

Presidential Election – Nov 5th, 2024
In North Carolina, we therefore consider it unsafe to vote for a third-party candidate in the general election, without fear that this will help get Trump back into the White House.
You may be considering a vote for Jill Stein on November 5th, because she stands for a ceasefire in Gaza, negotiations in Ukraine, an end to warmongering with China, the abolition of nuclear weapons and a full-scale mobilization to address the climate emergency. However, we would urge you to swap your vote with someone in a solid red or blue state,

Senate Race
No Senate election this year.
House Races
The best we can hope for in 2024 at the Presidential and Senate levels is to prevent Donald Trump and the Republicans from re-taking control so that we will at least survive the next four years. But in the medium term, we need to elect politicians who support the Green New Deal, Medicare for All, the Nuclear Ban Treaty and other real, sustainable solutions to the global threats facing us all.
Luckily, we already have over 100 such politicians in the House of Representatives. We need to make sure they get re-elected, and we need to elect more of them!
If you live in one of these US Congressional Districts, you have a progressive member of Congress to support!
