Presidential Election – Nov 5th, 2024

Iowa is a RED state that Trump won in 2016 and in 2020. Biden has little to no chance of winning this state in 2024.

In Iowa, it is safe to vote for a third-party candidate in the general election, without fear that this will help get Trump back into the White House. He will win this state anyway.

If you want your vote to count as a vote to survive, vote for Jill Stein on November 5th! Jill stands for a ceasefire in Gaza, negotiations in Ukraine, an end to warmongering with China, the abolition of nuclear weapons and a full-scale mobilization to address the climate emergency.

Vote Swapping

Are you willing help ensure that Trump does not get back into the White House by voting for a third-party candidate in exchange for someone in a purple state voting for Biden (instead of their preferred third-party candidate)? If you’d like to know more, click here.

Senate Race

This election is not just about Donald Trump. So long as Mitch McConnell retains control of the Senate, a President Biden will be able to achieve very little in office. We need to end McConnell’s tyranny of the Senate on November 3rd.

This is a Republican-held Senate seat and Democrats were not expecting to be able to take it on November 3rd. However, Democrat Theresa Greenfield is challenging Republican incumbent Joni Ernst for this seat, and is moving up rapidly in the opinion polls. You can use your vote to say no to Ernst, no to Trump and no to Mitch McConnell.

A vote for Theresa Greenfield is a vote for survival!

House Races

The best we can hope for in 2020 at the Presidential and Senate levels is to get rid of Donald Trump and Mitch McConnell so that we will at least survive the next four years. But in the medium term, we need to elect politicians who support the Green New Deal, Medicare for All, the Nuclear Ban Treaty and other real, sustainable solutions to the global threats facing us all.

Luckily, we already have over 100 such politicians in the House of Representatives. We need to make sure they get re-elected, and we need to elect more of them!

If you live in one of these US Congressional Districts, you have a progressive member of Congress to support!
