Texas

Texas has been a fairly solid RED state that Trump won in 2016, 2020 and 2024. However, the Senate race is currently considered PURPLE and one that Democrats could win. House seats are overwhelmingly RED, except in a few places where they have historically been solidly BLUE.

However, because of re-districting, a number of these seats are now PURPLE, with an unknown likelihood of remaining Democratic. Key PURPLE Districts in Texas include TX-15, TX-28 and TX-34 on the southern border, TX-16 in El Paso, TX-32 and TX-33 around Dallas, and TX-7 and TX-29 around Houston.

STRATEGIC VOTING RECOMMENDATION:

Vote for a progressive candidate in the Democratic Primary who will challenge not only the MAGA Republican madness but also the Democratic Party establishment!

Senate Race

This is a Purple Senate race. In this Republican stronghold, there is a chance of the Democrat taking this seat and thus wresting control of the Senate from MAGA Republicans.

In Purple races, every vote for the Democrat matters! If you are uncomfortable voting for a Democrat or plan to vote for a third party, please consider swapping your vote with someone in a safe state where their vote for a Democrat will not change the outcome.

STRATEGIC VOTING RECOMMENDATION:

Vote Democrat to end MAGA control of the Senate and swap your vote with someone in a red or blue state if you want them to vote for a third party of your choice or deliver a “protest” vote on your behalf.
