In 2024, the Republican, Monica De La Cruz, won this seat with a margin of 14.2 percent, or 31,839 votes, over the Democrat, Michelle Vallejo. An estimated 222,326 eligible voters (49.8%) did not vote at that election in Texas District 15, and – voted for a third (or fourth) party.
