This is currently considered to be a Red congressional district. No matter how you vote the Republican is going to win this seat! You can safely vote third party without affecting the outcome. In 2024, the Republican, Beth Van Duyne, won this seat with a margin of 20.6 percent, or 77,590 votes, over the Democrat, Sam Eppler. Meanwhile, in 2024, Trump won in this seat by 16 percent.
An estimated 145,619 eligible voters, or 27.9 percent, did not vote at that election in Texas District 24, and – voted for a third (or fourth) party. There are also 20,603 in this district who have turned 18 since 2024 and are now eligible to vote!
