This is currently considered to be a Purple congressional district. This is one of the seats that Democrats can take from Republicans because of redistricting – to offset seats they will lose in Texas because of redistricting there. Please vote Democrat to end MAGA control of Congress!. In 2024, the Republican, Vince Fong, won this seat with a margin of 30.1 percent, or 86,936 votes, over the Republican, Mike Boudreaux. Meanwhile, in 2024, Trump won in this seat by 30 percent.
An estimated 239,602 eligible voters, or 45.3 percent, did not vote at that election in California District 20, and – voted for a third (or fourth) party. There are also 20,520 in this district who have turned 18 since 2024 and are now eligible to vote!
