This is currently considered to be a Red congressional district. No matter how you vote the Democrat can’t win this seat! This is the district where a third party candidate (No Political Party) has the best chance of actually winning a seat.. In 2024, the Republican, Addison McDowell, won this seat with a margin of 38.3 percent, or 129,286 votes, over the Constitution, Kevin Hayes. Meanwhile, in 2024, Trump won in this seat by 17 percent.
An estimated 214,085 eligible voters, or 38.8 percent, did not vote at that election in North Carolina District 6, and – voted for a third (or fourth) party. There are also 18,277 in this district who have turned 18 since 2024 and are now eligible to vote!
