This is currently considered to be a Red congressional district. No matter how you vote the Republican is going to win this seat! However, there are no third parties on the ballot and write-ins are not allowed, so vote for one of the Democrats. In 2024, the Republican, Mike Johnson, won this seat with a margin of 71.6 percent, or 219,394 votes, over the Republican, Joshua Morott. Meanwhile, in 2024, Trump won in this seat by 52 percent.
An estimated 266,867 eligible voters, or 46.6 percent, did not vote at that election in Louisiana District 4, and – voted for a third (or fourth) party. There are also 20,829 in this district who have turned 18 since 2024 and are now eligible to vote!
