In 2024, the Democrat, Dave Min, won this seat with a margin of 2.9 percent, or 10,167 votes, over the Republican, Scott Baugh. An estimated 176,910 eligible voters (33.4%) did not vote at that election in California District 47, and – voted for a third (or fourth) party.
