This is currently considered to be a Purple congressional district. This is the second most vulnerable Republican seat in the country. It is a seat that Democrats MUST win to regain control of the House. Please vote Democrat to end MAGA control of Congress!. In 2024, the Republican, Gabe Evans, won this seat with a margin of 0.7 percent, or only 2,449 votes, over the Democrat, Yadira Caraveo. Meanwhile, in 2024, Trump won in this seat by 2 percent.
An estimated 162,409 eligible voters, or 32.7 percent, did not vote at that election in Colorado District 8, and 9,425 voted for a third (or fourth) party. There are also 15,797 in this district who have turned 18 since 2024 and are now eligible to vote!
