In 2024, the Democrat, Jared Moskowitz, won this seat with a margin of 4.9 percent, or 18,305 votes, over the Republican, Joe Kaufman. An estimated 174,603 eligible voters (31.8%) did not vote at that election in Florida District 23, and – voted for a third (or fourth) party.
