In 2024, the Democrat, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, won this seat with a margin of 9 percent, or 30,734 votes, over the Republican, Chris Eddy. An estimated 167,209 eligible voters (32.8%) did not vote at that election in Florida District 25, and 41 voted for a third (or fourth) party.
