In 2024, the Republican, Russ Fulcher, won this seat with a margin of 45.6 percent, or 212,393 votes, over the Democrat, Kaylee Peterson. Meanwhile, in 2024, Trump won in this seat by 45 percent.
An estimated 239,493 eligible voters, or 33.9 percent, did not vote at that election in Idaho District 1, and 16,537 voted for a third (or fourth) party. There are also 24,630 in this district who have turned 18 since 2024 and are now eligible to vote!
