In 2024, the Republican, Mike Bost, won this seat with a margin of 48.4 percent, or 177,879 votes, over the Democrat, Brian Roberts. Meanwhile, in 2024, Trump won in this seat by 43 percent.
An estimated 209,801 eligible voters, or 36.3 percent, did not vote at that election in Illinois District 12, and – voted for a third (or fourth) party. There are also 22,144 in this district who have turned 18 since 2024 and are now eligible to vote!
