In 2024, the Democrat, Morgan McGarvey, won this seat with a margin of 23.9 percent, or 78,387 votes, over the Republican, Mike Craven. An estimated 215,891 eligible voters (39.7%) did not vote at that election in Kentucky District 3, and 51 voted for a third (or fourth) party.
