In 2024, the Republican, John James, won this seat with a margin of 6.1 percent, or 26,074 votes, over the Democrat, Carl Marlinga. An estimated 158,724 eligible voters (27.2%) did not vote at that election in Michigan District 10, and 16,501 voted for a third (or fourth) party.
