In 2024, the Democrat, Chris Pappas, won this seat with a margin of 8.1 percent, or 32,641 votes, over the Republican, Russell Prescott. An estimated 147,952 eligible voters (26.8%) did not vote at that election in New Hampshire District 1, and 295 voted for a third (or fourth) party.
