In 2024, the Democrat, Nelli Pou, won this seat with a margin of 4.9 percent, or 12,575 votes, over the Republican, Billy Prempeh. An estimated 227,302 eligible voters (46.9%) did not vote at that election in New Jersey District 9, and 8,560 voted for a third (or fourth) party.
