In 2024, the Democrat, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, won this seat with a margin of 38.2 percent, or 73,636 votes, over the Republican, Tina Forte. An estimated 247,369 eligible voters (56.2%) did not vote at that election in New York District 14, and 759 voted for a third (or fourth) party.
