In 2024, the Democrat, John Mannion, won this seat with a margin of 9.1 percent, or 32,511 votes, over the Republican, Brandon Williams. An estimated 230,053 eligible voters (39.2%) did not vote at that election in New York District 22, and 403 voted for a third (or fourth) party.
