This is currently considered to be a Red congressional district. No matter how you vote the Republican is going to win this seat! You can safely vote third party without affecting the outcome. In 2024, the Republican, Nick Langworthy, won this seat with a margin of 31.6 percent, or 118,572 votes, over the Democrat, Thomas Carle. Meanwhile, in 2024, Trump won in this seat by 21 percent.
An estimated 230,776 eligible voters, or 38.1 percent, did not vote at that election in New York District 23, and 228 voted for a third (or fourth) party. There are also 20,373 in this district who have turned 18 since 2024 and are now eligible to vote!
