This is currently considered to be a Red congressional district. No matter how you vote the Republican is going to win this seat! You can safely vote third party without affecting the outcome. In 2024, the Republican, Claudia Tenney, won this seat with a margin of 31.3 percent, or 112,550 votes, over the Democrat, David Wagenhauser. Meanwhile, in 2024, Trump won in this seat by 23 percent.
An estimated 248,048 eligible voters, or 40.8 percent, did not vote at that election in New York District 24, and 223 voted for a third (or fourth) party. There are also 20,410 in this district who have turned 18 since 2024 and are now eligible to vote!
