In 2024, the Democrat, Emilia Sykes, won this seat with a margin of 2.2 percent, or 8,542 votes, over the Republican, Kevin Coughlin. An estimated 217,970 eligible voters (36.1%) did not vote at that election in Ohio District 13, and – voted for a third (or fourth) party.
