In 2024, the Democrat, Val Hoyle, won this seat with a margin of 7.8 percent, or 29,432 votes, over the Republican, Monique DeSpain. An estimated 185,970 eligible voters (32.9%) did not vote at that election in Oregon District 4, and 16,473 voted for a third (or fourth) party.
