In 2024, the Democrat, Chris Deluzio, won this seat with a margin of 7.7 percent, or 34,938 votes, over the Republican, Rob Mercuri. An estimated 139,961 eligible voters (23.7%) did not vote at that election in Pennsylvania District 17, and 721 voted for a third (or fourth) party.
