This is currently considered to be a Red congressional district. No matter how you vote the Republican is going to win this seat! You can safely vote third party without affecting the outcome. In 2024, the Republican, William Timmons, won this seat with a margin of 22.5 percent, or 77,940 votes, over the Democrat, Kathryn Harvey. Meanwhile, in 2024, Trump won in this seat by 24 percent.
An estimated 197,776 eligible voters, or 36.3 percent, did not vote at that election in South Carolina District 4, and 10,522 voted for a third (or fourth) party. There are also 16,646 in this district who have turned 18 since 2024 and are now eligible to vote!
