Wyoming

Wyoming is a deep RED state with only one Congressional District. No Democrat has any chance of winning this state in a national election any time soon. The last Democrat to win a senate seat in Wyoming was John Hickey in 1956. Since then, the state of Wyoming has voted for a Democratic President only once, in 1964. Trump won this state comfortably in 2016, 2020 and 2024.

Out of a voting age population of roughly 450,000, some 250,000-300,000 have voted in recent elections, of which 210,000 are registered Republicans and 32,000 are registered Democrats.

STRATEGIC VOTING RECOMMENDATION:

Vote for a progressive candidate in the Democratic Primary who will challenge not only the MAGA Republican madness but also the Democratic Party establishment!

Senate Race

In 2024, Republican John Barrasso received 192,633 votes to Democrat Scott Morrow’s 69,527 votes for the Wyoming Senate seat. That’s a majority of nearly 135,000 votes. Democratic voters in Wyoming can comfortably swap their Senate vote with someone in another state without running any risk of changing the outcome of the Senate election in Wyoming.

Because Wyoming is one of the states that allows write-in ballots without any restrictions, vote swappers can write-in any candidate they choose that meets the preference of their voteswap partner.

And if you normally would vote Democrat, you can swap your vote to encourage someone to vote Democrat in a state where it really does matter.

STRATEGIC VOTING RECOMMENDATION:

Vote third party and swap your vote with a voter in a purple state. You are thereby increasing the chances of a Democrat-controlled Senate even though you are not voting Democrat in your own state.
