This is currently considered to be a purple congressional district. This was a solid red district but re-districting makes it one of the critical seats that Democrats could now win. Please vote Democrat to end MAGA control of Congress!. In 2024, the Republican, Blake Moore, won this seat with a margin of 31.1 percent, or 113,656 votes, over the Democrat, Bill Campbell. Meanwhile, in 2024, Trump won in this seat by 20 percent.
An estimated 211,945 eligible voters, or 36.7 percent, did not vote at that election in Utah District 1, and 17,601 voted for a third (or fourth) party. There are also 24,781 in this district who have turned 18 since 2024 and are now eligible to vote!
