In 2024, the Republican, Dan Newhouse, won this seat with a margin of 5.9 percent, or 17,302 votes, over the Republican, Jerrod Sessler. An estimated 185,873 eligible voters (38.6%) did not vote at that election in Washington District 4, and 5,400 voted for a third (or fourth) party.
