In 2024, the Republican, Bryan Steil, won this seat with a margin of 10.2 percent, or 40,113 votes, over the Democrat, Peter Barca. An estimated 154,662 eligible voters (28.2%) did not vote at that election in Wisconsin District 1, and 8,576 voted for a third (or fourth) party.
