This is currently considered to be a Red congressional district. No matter how you vote the Republican is going to win this seat! You can safely vote third party without affecting the outcome. In 2024, the Republican, Tony Wied, won this seat with a margin of 14.6 percent, or 61,374 votes, over the Democrat, Kristin Lyerly. Meanwhile, in 2024, Trump won in this seat by 16 percent.
An estimated 142,522 eligible voters, or 25.4 percent, did not vote at that election in Wisconsin District 8, and 272 voted for a third (or fourth) party. There are also 18,804 in this district who have turned 18 since 2024 and are now eligible to vote!
