This is currently considered a safe BLUE US Senate seat. Incumbent Democrat Ben Ray Luján is very likely to retain his seat, although Republicans are hoping to take it. There are no third party candidates on the ballot, so the only option for vote swappers is to write-in a candidate on the ballot. Voting Democrat in a safe blue state is a wasted vote!
