Maryland

This is a deep BLUE STATE that Biden won in 2020, Clinton won in 2016 and Harris won in 2024. It is BLUE when it comes to the Senate race, and it is BLUE when it comes to all House races except MD-1, which is solidly RED. However, to play it safe in this year’s election, voters in MD-2 and MD-6 may want to vote Democrat since these are districts with the smallest margins of victory in recent elections.

Democrats who don’t want to waste their vote in all but these last two districts can choose to vote third party and swap their vote with someone in a purple state or district where the Democrat does have a chance of winning a seat.

Senate Race

There is no Senate election in 2026.

Not registered to vote? You’re in luck! This is one of the states that allows you to register AND vote on Election Day at your nearest town or city clerk’s office. Bring ID and wear a mask, and don’t forget to VOTE!

AND, your most powerful contribution to this election may not be your own vote, but the vote of a friend, relative, colleague, former neighbor, or somebody else you know who does live in a “battleground” state. You may be the one person who can convince that person to vote, and to vote for our survival, at this election.
