Washington DC

This is a deep BLUE STATE (DISTRICT) that Biden won in 2020 and Clinton won in 2016. Trump has no chance of winning DC in 2024.

Presidential Election – Nov 5th, 2024

In DC, it is safe to vote for a third-party candidate in the general election, without fear that this will help get Trump back into the White House. He will not win this district no matter how you vote.

If you want your vote to count as a vote to survive, vote for Jill Stein on November 5th! Jill stands for a ceasefire in Gaza, negotiations in Ukraine, an end to warmongering with China, the abolition of nuclear weapons and a full-scale mobilization to address the climate emergency.

Vote Swapping

Are you willing help ensure that Trump does not get back into the White House by voting for a third-party candidate in exchange for someone in a purple state voting for Harris (instead of their preferred third-party candidate)? If you’d like to know more, click here.

Not registered to vote? You’re in luck! This is one of the states that allows you to register AND vote on Election Day at your nearest town or city clerk’s office. Bring ID and wear a mask, and don’t forget to VOTE!

AND, your most powerful contribution to this election may not be your own vote, but the vote of a friend, relative, colleague, former neighbor, or somebody else you know who does live in a “battleground” state. You may be the one person who can convince that person to vote, and to vote for our survival, at this election.

House Race

AND, although DC does not have a Senator (yet), it does have a Rep in the House of Representatives – even though she can’t vote (yet). Eleanor Holmes Norton is one of the most progressive members of Congress, so a vote for Eleanor is a vote to survive!
